Guests forgive a lot, but not a hair in the shower or crumbs in the silverware drawer. Cleanliness ratings feed directly into how a listing ranks, so the turnover between guests is one of the most important parts of hosting.
Work from a written checklist that matches your listing. Strip and remake every bed with fresh linens, reset bathrooms completely, run and empty the dishwasher, wipe inside the microwave and fridge, and stage towels and supplies exactly as they appear in your photos.
Build in a check for damage and left-behind items. A quick message to the host after each turnover (a broken glass, a missing remote, a phone charger in the nightstand) saves headaches for the next guest and for you.
Finally, plan ahead with your booking calendar. Same-day turnovers leave little room for error, and a cleaner who knows your schedule in advance can plan the visit around check-out and check-in times instead of racing them.
